As part of its emergency services benefit, CAMAF offers its members International Travel Cover of R5 million per beneficiary per journey for emergency unforeseen and unexpected medical costs while they travel outside South Africa. This cover is for a period of 90 days from your departure from South Africa. The cover is administered through TIC and Europ Assistance in line with the Scheme Rules.
To arrange your cover and to get your CAMAF International Travel Benefit activated, login here and select International Cover under Benefits -> My Cover.
Alternatively, you can contact the Travel Desk on 011 521 4504 and the consultant will assist you with issuing of your documents. Have your CAMAF membership number handy so that you can be validated, together with your passport number, date of birth, destination and travel dates.
The travel desk will send you your CAMAF International Travel Benefit 2024 letter and emergency contact numbers. Members who chose to purchase the TIC top-up cover at their own expense will also receive a TIC Insurance Cover 2024 policy document.
Arrange this cover as soon as possible once your itinerary has been finalised.
