Why Choose Medical Cannabis?

Did you know? Cannabis is used to manage a wide variety of symptoms because it contains multiple active ingredients, including a group of compounds known as cannabinoids. In many cases, cannabis is becoming increasingly recognized as a viable treatment option and/or adjunct to traditional pharmaceuticals. As of March 2018, over 295,000 Canadians were registered with a licensed producer for access to medical cannabis. *

Are you thinking of trying medical cannabis to alleviate some of your digestive symptoms? As we mentioned in one of our medical cannabis webinars, medical vs recreational – there are several benefits to choosing the medical cannabis route. Due to these reasons, we encourage patients use a licensed producer over choosing to use recreational cannabis. Some of these benefits include:

Lower cost: Claim on yearly income tax returns

Possible insurance coverage

Product availability, safety and quality: Access to high-quality products intended for medicinal use

Professional advice and on-going support: Individualized treatment plans with progress monitored closely

It’s really simple! Below are the steps you can follow to register:
